Long time no post.....

Just checked my last post....it's been months!

An update to my blog's title...I am now learning Korean too.  I've had two courses so far.  It was slow learning.  I think it was because of the class set-up.  I was fun nevertheless and I didn't mind going once a week.  I finally was able to join a Korean-English language exchange meet-up group.  I couldn't go as often as I want to..scheduling is hectic these days, what with summer break and all.  Lots to do, only 24 hrs in a day!  I met my friend 소아 through this meet-up and we do language exchange in our free time.  I am finally able to make sentences!  Yipee!

I am travelling to South Korea in three weeks.  Important phrase to remember: 

구두얼마예요?  I am addicted to shoes you see.  I have to go shopping for shoes. ^^

Anyways....today is a nice day, a cool relief from the hot summer weather so I am going to out and about...though I have a feeling I might end up going to the mall. Oh well...

Skip Beat

So I've read the manga.....well sort of....the first few volumes.  Watched the anime...and now there's a Taiwanese adaptation of the manga - live action.  I was hesitant to watch as I know there wouldn't really be an ending as the manga is still ongoing - but curiousity got the better of me so I watched it - hoping and hoping and hoping (against hope) that they would make a "happy ending" in the live action version....

Well the manga hasn't ended and from what I gather is not ending anytime soon.....so I guess I'll leave everything to my imagination.

Well the upside is - got to watch Siwon once again....hmmm and newly discovered Donghae.

東京。。。トロント

去年の夏私は東京へ行きました。その旅行はすごい楽しかったです。日本とカナダ間に明らかな違いがあるでしょう。だから、私は「東京とトロントは何を似ることがありますか。」を考えました。

外国の食べ物と飲み物があります。もし、外国人は自分の国のりょうりが食べたいと思えば、マクドナルドとか、ケンタッキーフライドチッキンとか、ハードロックカフェがあります。スターバックスもあります。しかし、東京ではトロントより人前が小さかった。

二つの都市はにぎやかです。みんなはもくてきと歩きます。毎朝会社の人は仕事へ急ぐいきます。ときどき、コンビニでパンとか、コーヒとか、お弁当を買います。毎朝、地下鉄がいっぱいです。でも、東京の地下鉄は朝のルッシュアワー間に女性専用車があります。いいでしょう。。。もし、あなたは女の人です。よかった、私は女性です。

都市には自転車に乗っている便利でしょう。毎日沢山ひとは自転車をつくって会社とか、駅とか、スーパに行きます。トロントには自転車は道でのっています。東京で私はびっくりしました。自転車はすべての方向から来ました！「あぶない！」と思いました。そのほかにも女性はかかとくつを履くと短いスカートを着ました。すごかった！

東京とトロントは似るごとがあります。けれども、都市はそれぞれ、どくとくなひんしつがあります。
